Form Zone Overlay District Survey Central Neighborhoods and East Street Neighborhood - Sept. 23 Meeting
Can’t make it to the September 23 meeting? No problem, we’ve provided our feedback survey below for your convenience. This is the same feedback survey that will be distributed at the in person meeting. In addition, staff has provided two brief videos below that provide information that will allow you to understand the following:
- How the new zoning code arranges land uses and density standards into two separate maps: Use Zone Map and Form Zone Map
- The methodology of how the new Form Zones were applied to properties in commercial zones and residential zones in the central neighborhoods and East Street Neighborhood.
If you choose to utilize the online method to provide feedback, please follow the instructions provided below:
- Review the videos embedded below as a primer to answering the feedback survey.
- Check the interactive zoning map to determine what form zone overlay has been applied to your property. The map allows you to search via your address. If you are applied in the “Peripheral” form zone, you are located within the R1 or R1A use zones. If you are applied in the “Transition” form zone, you are located within either the R2 or R3 use zone, which permits multi-family development. If you have Mainstreet A, Mainstreet B, Neighborhood Corridor, or Strip applied to your property, you have commercial zoning (C1, C2, RC, CC1, CC2, Neighborhood Center). Please select either the Commercial or Residential primer video below based on your current zoning.
- Complete the short survey that follows.
