**Concluded** Neighborhood Meeting: 523 Ford Street Rezoning (Pre App: 24-12)
The meeting was held on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
The intent of a neighborhood meeting is for an opportunity to provide comments and input on a project to help it fit into the Golden context before a formal application for development to the City. The neighborhood meeting is hosted by the potential applicant; however, city staff attends to observe and answer questions regarding the process.
Application Type(s): Rezoning from R-1 with a Peripheral Form Zone Overlay to R-2 with a Core Form Zone Overlay in order to build a cluster of attached and detached cottages.
Approval Process: Rezonings are reviewed by Planning Commission and City Council. Planning Commission will provide a recommendation to City Council who will make a decision on the application.
Next Step is a formal application to the city.
