Approved Playground Project Design

Get ready to upgrade your play! We heard your feedback and we are so excited to bring this new, inclusive playground project to our community.

The approved playground design incorporates the design elements our community indicated were of highest priority as gathered through online and in-person outreach.

  • Multi-story structure
  • Slides
  • Traditional and disc swings
  • Sensory elements
  • Climbing structures
  • Shade structures
  • Pour-in-place surfacing
  • Sand play area

Work on the project is expected to begin in early 2025, with completion anticipated by June of 2025. Playground and trail closures and detours through the park will be required.

More information on closures and construction timelines will be communicated ahead of the project start in the new year.
