Meeting #6 was held on April 15, 2025, on the East End Amenities and Lions Park. The survey will be open on these topics through April 30.
- East End Amenities - Identify on the map what amenities you'd like to see between Parfet Park and the Police and Municipal Building.
-
What we have heard so far:
- The City incorporated community feedback from the three community meetings in 2024, focused on environmental sustainability, modified the funding strategy to further prioritize affordability, and is continuing community conversations about amenities along the corridor. We will use this feedback to guide our vision for the East Amenity Zone Plan.
- Improvements to the Clear Creek Corridor should:
- Improve walkability, bikeability, and connectivity
- Preserve natural spaces and historic character
- Focus on benefits for residents and their quality of life
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity
- Support community events and facilities
- Improve access to public transit
- 8th to 10th Street: - Learn about updates to connections between 8th and 10th Streets which will have 100% design complete this August
- Lions Park East: Learn about accessible parking, pathways, and raised crosswalks which has 100% design complete
- Lions Park Playground: - Give us your feedback on whether the playground should remain in its current location or move to the center of the park
